DakkS

The "Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle" (DAkkS) is the national accreditation body of Germany and one of the world's leading accreditation bodies. It is an independent organization and a part of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

The DAkkS is responsible for conducting accreditation of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in Germany. CABs are entities that perform tests, calibrations, inspections or certifications to ensure compliance with norms and standards.
